What does it cost to play and what are the basic requirements of players and teams?

Costs:

 

Teams register each season at a cost of $60 per team. Registration fees must be paid before teams can participate.​

​

Teams that forfeit a game must pay a fine of $60 before they may participate in any future games.

​

Players pay $10 per game. Payment can be made in cash to the Arena Manager or by EFT to the GVA account. Players must pay before their game commences.

Teams and players must abide by the Goodwood Volleyball Association By-laws which can be accessed by clicking here.

In summary:
 

Teams and players must conduct themselves in a respectful manner at all times in the venue.

Teams and players must be financial at the time of taking to court for a game.

 

Teams and players must be ready to play at the scheduled game time or risk penalties for late arrival according to the By-laws.

Teams and players should endeavour to have a common team uniform and all players must wear appropriate sports shoes.

​

Teams and players must respectfully abide by all decisions made by the game referee.

​

Teams and players in the final game of a night should assist the Arena Manager with dismantling and storing the game equipment.
