GOODWOOD VOLLEYBALL COMPETITIONS
Since the 1990s, Goodwood Volleyball has offered a range of competition across the week, although post-COVID just two competitions are currently offered. Games are played as best-of-5 without time limits, the exception being the final game of the evening must be ended by 11pm, and GVA supplies duty officials.
TUESDAY EVENINGS

B Grade
Tuesday night competitions run across two seasons - Summer (usually Aug-Feb) and Winter (usually Mar-July with a month break across Christmas/New Year period). While teams can field players of extensive volleyball experience and abilities, the Tuesday night competition is designed for teams that would be A or B grade standard in most social competitions, State League Div 2 and lower levels, and players who are keen to play high standard volleyball.

THURSDAY EVENINGS

Thursday night competitions run across two seasons - Summer (usually Aug-Feb) and Winter (usually Mar-July with a month break across Christmas/New Year period). Teams are frequently current or recently-retired State League and Div 1 and 2 players and higher, club teams looking for a game night as part of their training regime, and retired players who have had extensive volleyball experience at State League or higher levels.
